My bedroom

My bedroom is not very big but it is long. The ceiling is white and the walls are apple green. I don't have to share it with anyone because my sister lives in her own flat.

In the right side there isn't anything more than the door and some pictures hanged on the wall. In the left side, there is the wardrobe, the bed and above the bed there are some shelves. At the backside there is a window and a desk. Under the bed, which is very tall, you can find some drawers and another bed.

I don't really stay a long time in my bedroom. Actually, I only use it to sleep and to do my homework. However, it is always a mess!

I don't like very much my bedroom, because it always has a lot of light in the night, and I can't sleep!

WHAT'S THE PROBABILITY THAT...

...teachers WILL become obsolete?
It's not really possible. We think, they're very important for education. They'd maybe be replaced by robots but they won't dissapear.

...human organs WILL be replaced by biologically engineered ones?
It's possible. Nowadays science is very fast and new technologies are created every day.

...we WILL live until 125 years or more?
 We hope not. In that age you would probably not have a good quality of live.

...we WILL travel in time?
It wouldn't be possible. It would altere the space and the circumstances. We think an small think in the past would change all our world.


...everything WILL be digital?
It is possible. However, we think if one day is a big crash of all the computer system we would not know how to go on.

...a cure for cancer WILL be found?

 It's possible. As we said before, science is developing fast.

...newspapers will be replaced by the Internet?

Yes. In fact, we think it has been already replaced.

...a new form of energy WILL be found?

We hope so. The energy we use now it's not really productive and one day it would disappear.

...microchips WILL be inserted into the human brain?

It would probably. We would prefer they won't but it's the progress.

...we WILL be hit by a giant asteroid?

Perhaps. We can't predict this type of things.

The Classmates

IRENE AND MAR: loves and hates

IRENE: I hate getting up early to come to the high school especially on Mondays. I hate when people tell my what to do, and most of all when I knew it before! I also hate when my sister interrupts me when I am doing something.
I like reading books as The Hunger Games or  The Mortal
Instruments. I like cook especially sweets and I love the music. I play the clarinet
I play the clarinet and for four years and I love it.

MAR: I agree Irene too in the fact that Mondays are a little hard. I also can't stand people that keep fooling around all the day. They are so irritating! I also hate running and playing football. It's so boring...
I love performing in the stage and to talk in public. I really like travelling around (I hope when I'd grow up I will live in the USA!). Finally I also love listening to music on my iPod when I am walking on the street.

Hi!! My name is Mar and I'm fourteen years old. I'm from Catalonia and I actually live in Badalona.
I study in Institut Enric Borràs and I'm in 3D class. My dad is called Carlos and my mum is called Loli. My sister is twenty six and she's called Alba.
I live in a small flat near the Institut but I really like it! It's very nice!
Badalona is not very big but it's enough big so it has some libraries a lot of Primary and Secondary school and lots of places where we can have fun!
I don't have any pets but I love cats.
My hobbies are doing theatre and swimming.
In my free time, I meet my friends and I surf the Internet.
